A little history
On August 15th 1934 the residents of Frankfort Center and the immediate vicinity met in the St Theresa Park to discuss the possibilities of organizing a volunteer fire department. It was decided to elect a president secretary and treasure of the new organization. The following were elected.

During meetings that followed in August, September, October, November, and December of 1934 Numerous committees were formed to look into the steps needed to be recognized as a legitimate fire department in the town, and to find ways to finance the department.
On December 18 1934 the following officers were elected to head the Frankfort Center Volunteer Fire Department
